Doing outdoor theatre in Midland, Michigan, is a challenge at the best of times. You never truly know if you're going to encounter days that require hats and gloves, or if you will be forced to move inside because the heat index is too hot to be safely outside. Navigating temperatures of over 100 degrees with a cast and crew made up of approximately 35 high school students presented new challenges to navigate and we handled them with a focus on safety.
